The farm, been owned by the family for 4 generations, covers 16 hectares of land of the plain that, from the metalliferous hills, leads to the sea of Castiglione della Pescaia.(Tuscany)
Once this lands, mainly cultivated with wheat, housed a vine and a few hundred olive trees. Today the main production of our farm is the extra virgin olive oil. From year to year we increased the number of plants, always keeping focused on the peculiarities of our land and on the autochthonous varieties, in compliance with the dictates of the Consortium for the protection of the Tuscan extra virgin olive oil IGP of which we are partners.
The 1200 plants that currently make up our olive grove, are mainly frantoio, leccino and moraiolo qualities. Some pendolino and maurine plants complete the varieties.
In 2013 we started the conversion to organic oil and from the 2018/2019 olive oil harvest , our product is officially organic!(biologic)
The harvest usually begins in the second half of October, when olives reach the right degree of ripeness. They are still picked by hand, with the sole aid of special rakes. The pressing is done daily to prevent the deterioration of the product and ensure a very low level of acidity.
The oil we produce is a blend (mixture) of monovarietal oils. It is a full-bodied oil, with the scent of grass and artichoke, with a fruity flavor with a slightly spicy aftertaste. The color can vary from intense green to golden yellow.

We sell it in 5-liter cans and in bottles of 0.75 l and 0.25 l.
